Pre-debut
Before his official debut in 2018, Stell built his performance foundation as a prominent member of SE-EON, a highly successful and internationally competitive K-pop dance cover group. His time in the local cover scene was pivotal, leading to SE-EON winning the 2014 Pinoy K-pop Star competition, representing the Philippines internationally, and even meeting global superstars BTS. Furthermore, these local competitions served as the initial meeting ground for his future SB19 bandmates, including Josh, who actually joined SE-EON after originally being a fan of their practices. Driven to elevate his craft, Stell auditioned for ShowBT Philippines in 2016. Through unmatched dedication, he became the only original trainee to never leave the camp, surviving the grueling process to officially debut as SB19's main vocalist, lead dancer, and main choreographer.
